Rieko CollinsWelcome to OC753 Premium Kimono website. I'm Rieko Collins, the founder and kimono stylist of OC753 Premium Kimono.

I'd like to begin by sharing a bit of the story and inspiration behind my brand.

In 2020, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to return to Japan, and all of the plans to celebrate my child's Shichi-Go-San there had to be canceled. That is where this story begins.

My family runs a long-established kimono shop with a history of nearly 100 years. My mother is also a skilled kimono dresser, and I grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of kimono culture.

Now, as a mother myself and having lived through these turbulent times, one thought has grown stronger within me: I want children growing up in the States to know their Japanese roots and culture. It was also a moment when I truly realized the special value of my own background.

Like puzzle pieces falling perfectly into place, with the full support of my family, OC753 Premium Kimono was born in the fall of 2021.

I intentionally offer kimonos with classic, traditional designs. That's because the kimono is a proud symbol of Japan's cultural heritage, and to share its true beauty, it is essential to present the highest quality, authentic garments.

With the pride I carry as the daughter of a long-standing kimono shop, I am honored to bring genuine, traditional kimono to the States.
